Dave was hired by Northville Township Police Department as a Reserve Police Officer. As a United States Marine, Dave was responsible for the back-end encryption algorithms associated with secure communications. Battlefield communications plans include satellite, radio, ship-to-shore, air-to ground, line of sight, and various other methods of communication; including light and signals. Dave is an expert on many weapon systems, a Range and Primary Marksmanship Instructor.
